Context
I was into food photography for a while and had a lot of fun turning some of my shoots into animations. I grew up with a filmmaker father who introduced me to the wonderful world of stop-motion at a very early age (we made a lot of "magic movies" where I turned my brother into Barbies lol). The process above involved taking serial still shots of the food elements in different positions (much harder than you'd think) and then stringing them together in sequence in Photoshop to create a looping GIF animation (much easier than you'd think). When I posted these on social I typically added a fun soundtrack as well.
